Renderings:

How will I know what the design will look like?

The Black Den can provide design renderings for our clients to assist in visualizing any custom paint project. Due to the time involved, this design and rendering process is non-refundable fee of NT$6,000. This fee is then deducted out of the total cost of the project.

Pricing:

Good paint jobs aren't cheap, and cheap paint jobs aren't good!

I am confident that my prices are very competitive considering my attention to detail and my unwavering commitment to using only quality professional products on your job.

Custom paint jobs are just that... “Custom” - A complete price list for custom paint is simply not possible. Every job is unique, therefore every job’s pricing will also be different. The more detailed and time consuming the job is, the higher the price.

Many factors go into pricing a custom paint job:

1. •Design of artwork (Do you want a simple two color stripe or a full color custom Fire Breathing Dragon Mural)
   

2. •Do you want digital renderings before the paint job?
   

3. •Type of paint (Candy, metallic flakes, pearls)
   

4. •Surface prep (Are the parts that need to be painted new parts or do the parts need repair)
   

5. •Is there pinstriping involved in the paint job?
   

6. •etc...
   

If you only want a motorcycle tank painted, the price will be cheaper - Additionally, if you want a full custom painted car (Hood, roof, doors, etc..) then the price will be substantially higher.

Fees and Payment:

Do I need to pay in advance?

Unless otherwise stated in the quotation, 50% of the fee is payable on commencement of the work and the balance of the fee is due on completion.

Any additional expenses to the initial quotation will be identified in a revised quotation, verbally or final Invoice and will be reimbursed by the client.

Payment of the balance of each invoice issued by The Black Den is due upon completion.

No artwork will be released to the client until the final Invoice is paid in full. No exceptions.

Turnaround Times:

How long does it take?

Typical turnaround times are a couple of weeks once I get started on your order. Of course, this depends on many different factors. Please understand that there are many different and time consuming steps to complete a quality paint job - both before and after the custom painting. If any of these steps are rushed or omitted, then the quality of your paint job can be severely compromised. The Black Den prides itself on quality and will not compromise in any stage of the custom painting process.

The Black Den will do it’s best to meet all scheduling and timeline deadlines. Any dates for delivery stated verbally or written are estimated only and are not guaranteed. If you have a specific deadline that you must have your case finished by, then please plan several months in advance.

If you make any changes during the design or painting process, this can significantly lengthen the time to complete your case.
